Work
I've recently started a new role as a software engineer at The Scottish Government! I'm excited about this new chapter in my life and the challenges it will bring.
Learning
I'm studying for my Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C03) exam. I haven't made as much progress on this as I want to lately, but I hope to get this crossed off the list this year.
I'm also learning about Kubernetes since it's part of my new role. I am excited to learn more about it and hopefully master it (one day).
Gaming
I'm playing through The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. I remember trying this game years ago but quit almost straight away whilst trying to escape the jail at the beginning. I initially got the game as part of a bundle with Bioshock. For some reason, Bioshock appealed more to me, and I never went back to finish Oblivion. Excited to learn more about the game and hopefully finish it this time round.
TV Shows I'm Watching
I'm currently watching season two of The Last of Us. It's based on the game series by Naughty Dog Games. I loved the games, and I enjoyed season 1 of the show. I'm excited to see how they'll present the rest of the season.
